About My Tech High: Online Homeschool Tech Programs
In September 2008, a group of parents concluded that there just weren't enough fun, engaging resources to help their children learn technology and entrepreneurship, so we decided to do something about it. Led by our founder, Matt Bowman, our first program launched a year later with over 200 students learning online!
My Tech High helps youth around the country gain the foundational skills and knowledge they need to pursue a career in technology and start a home-based business today to save money for college in the future. We partner with US-based companies to connect them with our talented students as a viable alternative to outsourcing to other countries. We believe students can truly "earn while they learn".
Our long-term goal is to create a Perpetual Education Cycle for our country's tech-savvy teens. First, we will teach them the practical skills and knowledge needed to help them get a job NOW to save money for college. Then, as they graduate, we can provide them financial and other resources needed to launch their own tech start-up company. As they expand, we'll invite them to "give-back" by hiring the next-generation of our tech-savvy teens. This cycle will keep the high-paying, innovative, hi-tech jobs right here in the USA! We offer fun, engaging courses – with online mentors for support – on interesting hi-tech topics* such as:

- Computer Literacy (spreadsheets, documents and presentations)
