Rock by Rock

Rock by Rock’s robust library of project-based, K-5 science projects engage students in projects that are relevant to their lives while building science, literacy, and life skills. All science projects empower learners to make a change in the world through a combination of hands-on and online learning. These fully planned projects will save planning time and make it easy to ignite engagement and foster a deep love of learning. Projects use off-the-shelf materials you already have at home. Students can work on the projects independently or with a parent or sibling.

Q: How long does a project last?

A: A full project can last 4-6 weeks if you spend 30-40 minutes a day, 3-4 days per week. The teacher’s guide gives you a suggested pacing guide, but you are free to move at your own pace.
